Endorphins are natural painkillers, they reduce the perception of pain and can induce euphoria. We release these rockstars when we do something exhilarating, during exercise, stress, and when we are in mental or physical pain to help alleviate discomfort. When we create and release Endorphins we are bringing ourselves into balance, we are soothing and easing.
